When considering pharmacy practice evolution, an important incentive which may guide this evolution is the way pharmacy services are compensated.

There is a wide diversity of models for the payment of hospital and community pharmacy services, some based on margins, while others are fees for services or capitation.

In order to have a better view on these models, FIP has run an international survey on remuneration in both community and hospital pharmacy. This session will present and discuss the conclusions of this survey.
